ReserveKaru calls itself the '#1 restaurant table booking in Lahore' and publishes its numbers right on the homepage: 27 restaurants across four Punjab cities — 20 of them in Lahore — with 107+ reservations onboarded so far. Free for diners, no deposit, instant confirmations, bank-card deals up to 50% off. Every venue is 'onboarded by us, not scraped', which is more than most roundups in this category can say. Early-stage and Lahore-centric, but real.

ApnaTable

ApnaTable is the larger local diner portal: its site claims 102+ partner restaurants across three-plus major cities, with Karachi front and centre. It is app-first — map-based discovery with live availability, bank-card discounts at participating venues, bookings up to 30 days out, and an AI recommender called Booko. If your problem is being found by diners who book from their phones, this is the strongest local consumer network today.

Note what both are, though: diner marketplaces, not operating systems. They put your empty tables in front of people looking to book. Neither claims to run your floor — the host stand, the no-show follow-ups, the guest history. That is a different job.

Should you just use OpenTable or SevenRooms?

OpenTable is the category's giant. Its own press boilerplate cites more than 60,000 restaurants filling over 1.9 billion seats a year, and it lists the 20 countries it operates in. Pakistan is not one of them. Its Karachi pages are SEO shells — one is literally titled '0 Best Soul Food Restaurants In Karachi'. You cannot buy what isn't sold here.

SevenRooms is the operator's operator: over 15,000 venues globally, a deep guest CRM, marketing automation, commission-free direct bookings, and clients like Dishoom, Nobu and Marriott. DoorDash completed its acquisition of the company in June 2025, in a deal reported at $1.2 billion — worth knowing if you are betting on its roadmap. Its site makes no mention of Pakistan or South Asia, and pricing sits behind a demo. World-class software, sold somewhere else.

What about QuickSeat?

QuickSeat appears in Pakistani roundups often enough that we looked twice. quickseat.pk does not resolve — the DNS lookup fails. The actual QuickSeat is headquartered in Byblos, Lebanon, its testimonials are Lebanese venues, and its site — which advertises a genuinely solid feature set: WhatsApp and SMS confirmations, a dynamic floor map, guest CRM with dietary notes, POS integrations — nowhere states Pakistan operations. If a listicle told you otherwise, nobody checked.

So where does Seated fit?
